Greyhound Trust Suffolk closure

It’s difficult to find the words to express how sorry we are to announce that Greyhound Trust Suffolk has closed with immediate effect. We offer our heartfelt thanks for all your support – all of you who have homed greyhounds, volunteered their time, donated funds, shared their stories and attended walks and events. Since becoming a separate branch of the Greyhound Trust in 2009 (originally as Greyhound Homer Suffolk) you have helped find loving homes for well over a thousand greyhounds – thank you.

Our walks arranged until the end of the year will go ahead as planned – details will remain active on the website and we will continue to communicate through our facebook page. This website will be available until January 2023.

For those who have homed greyhounds from the branch and need support, your point of contact is now the Greyhound Trust Head National Support Centre, contact details at www.greyhoundtrust.org.uk/contact-us

  1. We are so sorry to learn of the closure of the Suffolk branch of the Greyhound Trust, you have done so much for so many greyhounds over the years that you have been active. We at Mildenhall Greyhound Trust will do our best to continue with some of the amazing work which you have been responsible for in Suffolk.

  2. Such very sad news. We adopted our Noah 3 years ago from yourselves. He had been in retirement for nearly a year but was so obviously cared for and loved by all the volunteers which was proven by his return visitors when seeing you all. Thank you for everything you have done for our hounds. You will be greatly missed.
