Magdalan Road Car Park IP7 5BD

An attractive walk through Hadleigh and the surrounding fields and along the river bank.  There will be two walks, a long one approx. 1 and a half hours and a shorter one of approx. 1 hour.
Once again after the walk we are welcome in the garden of the George public house.

All breeds of dog are welcome on this walk

We look forward to seeing you.

Mistley Walk

The weather was kind to us again for our walks around Mistley today. Over 60 greyhounds and their friends came along. Kennel dogs Carrie and Joe came on their first outing and it was beginners luck for Joe as he was reserved. Beautiful Carrie will be snapped up soon we are sure, she behaved perfectly. We also took along our special boy Will who will soon be looking for that special someone who will have the love and time to help to blossom.  For a large selection of photos from today’s walk please visit our Facebook page.Handsome Will

New Years Day Walk

A murky day for our first walk of the year but that didn’t deter 51 dogs and their humans walking around Stutton (short walk for the older dogs) or to Alton Water for the main walk. It may have been the thought of the wonderful cakes at the end that kept them going! Thank you Carol, Steve and Joss for making them and serving the tea and coffee. Thanks also to Angie and Parky for leading the short walk and to everyone that helped tidy the hall at the end. Kennel Dogs Jacob and Cracker joined us as did Swift Keith who walked beautifully with Fox.
We also met Arthur’s baby brother Edward, a real little stunner!

Boxing Day Walk

Wow! We were blessed with such a beautiful day for our annual Boxing Day walk in Felixstowe today. Thank you to all that came along to support us. Special thanks to Brian and Gill for leading the walk, Craig, Julie and family for allowing us to use their chalet and for the wonderful job they made of serving the refreshments and to everybody that made cakes, mince pies and sausage rolls.
We had another record turn out with 179 sight hounds and 19 of their friends of a different breed. We hope to have some photos to share with you shortly, please see the appeal above.

Highwoods Country Park

Thank you to Greyhound Walks for inviting us to join them on their walk through Highwoods Country Park today. It was a nice turn out given the appalling weather.  We took our special boy Will along.  Will is very shy and not quite ready to go to a forever home just yet but he was a brave little soldier today given that this is only his third trip out of kennels. Although quite hand shy still he was keen to make friends with several of the other dogs.  He walked beautifully on his lead.  We are very hopeful that there is a special home out there for this lovely lad.
Rio also came along and was given the good news that he will be going to live with his forever family pending a successful home check and after he recovers from his ‘man op’

Resized Will, Lucy and RockyLucy thought brave Will made a lovely chin rest!

Resized Rio with familyRio is walked by his prospective new family.  He behaved brilliantly.

Huge thanks to Sharon and Mike for leading a gorgeously sunny September walk with 43 dogs (40 greyhounds we think!). Thanks to all who came along – it was especially lovely to see so many of our recently homed greyhounds enjoying their retirement. Kennel dog Claire had a lovely day out and behaved very well too.
