Weird, but sounds like you're doing everything right. Strange how some insurance companies take so long to pay out - Jay had a couple of teeth out in mid-Jan, stuck a claim in even though I wasn't totally sure he was covered for dental work and had a cheque in the post on Wednesday! We do pay a slightly higher premium for him being of advanced years (10) but I was quite chuffed that I got anything back at all

I'm wondering if the spray-on skin stuff I've read about would work on these types of wounds.

I'm not sure - I think it does sting them when you put it on (judging from Jay's reaction to it), depends how big the would is I suppose?
