I am so happy!

On 28th August we officially adopted Alex - he has come so far you would not recognise him as the damaged and traumatised scrap of fur that we took on as a foster last October. I am so proud of him :-)

We also adopted a girlfriend for him - Newlawn Aoife - now called Saffy - who was so sweet when we met her, but is being quite the madam as she establishes her dainty rule over the boys (Alex and his pals Archie and Henry). She is a natural Indigo Dreamer :-)

That's brilliant news - I had wondered how he was doing and whether he had taken to boating. :D

I'm so glad things worked out with Alex, he is a very lucky boy and now a girlfriend too!

Any photos?

That's fantastic news Sue! I am so pleased for you and Alex ........and a new girlfriend to boot! What a lucky boy! Although it did make me smile to hear about Saffy! When we got Ralphie our baby-like little Magic, who had been perfectly happy to be bossed around all those years by Katie, suddenly turned into number one dog with absolutely no arguments brooked! She completely rules Ralphie (who is more than happy to be ruled!) and has really come into her own - bless!

Anyway, lots of hugs to you all, and as Paula says, any pics?

Ah, so happy to read this. I think most of us guessed that this is how things would end but it's lovely to hear that Alex has settled down into his new life so well - and yes, we need pictures please :D

I'm waiting on some decent photos from the camera (rather than the phone) then I'll update and link to the blog :-)

Alex is simply the most handsome and adorable puppy every born (I'm not biased!!!!) - i don't think I realised just how far he'd come until Saffy arrived!

Saffy is such a madam - today's adventure was discovering that she is a greedy girl who can swim - she saw us feeding the fish in our new fishpond (4' deep!), got jealous and dived in after the pellets (not the fish thankfully!). She got herself out as well so I can see this being a regular excursion - sigh!

Look forward to seeing the pictures. Haha, that made me laugh about Saffy, sounds like you've got your hands full again
