Ok, so it's still a few hours before the New Year but here's to a fine 2016 ahead - may your year be filled with health and happiness.

We've had quite a year here and topped it off with one of my step hounds, Archie Beanz, getting Alabama Rot over Christmas!

But we're starting 2016 with good news - Archie has recovered - it's a miracle as only 10% of dogs pull through. I'm also a bit amazed to report that ancient Ollie has made it through, despite looking every bit of his 12 years and 8 months.

My heart bleeds as I remember all the lovely hounds that have gone to the rainbow bridge this year, but it's nice to start 2016 with something to celebrate.

Sorry Archie was so unwell but delighted to hear he has recovered bless him.

A very Happy New Year to you, to everyone and of course the Houndies.

Glad to hear that Archie has recovered. Kenzo and Zack (and Elmer and I) also wish everyone and their hounds a very Happy 2016 :D

Happy New Year to you all. I'm so glad that Archie made it and that Ollie is still hanging in there.
