Born in April 2014 Harry Brown (Racing name knockhard Spring) is an affectionate lad. He shares his kennel nicely with another Greyhound and is settling in very well.
Update 14/09/19 This week Harry B has been to the Vets for his boosters. He loved looking around the waiting room at the other breeds of dogs, he wasn’t quite sure what to make of them. He soon endeared himself to the Vet, she couldn’t help but give him lots of cuddles.
Update 27/10/19 Harry Brown joined us for our walk at Grundisburgh today. What an absolute Gentleman he proved to be. He walked beautifully on his lead and was kind to the other dogs he met.
Update 24/12/19 Harry Brown has had a busy week. He went for a walk around the Village and Bypass Nurseries and finished the walk off with treats and lots of fuss in the dog friendly Bluebell cafe.
On Saturday he went for a two night sleepover with his Volunteer. This is what she had to say about him ” Harry has been a total Angel! He is an intelligent, alert, affectionate and pretty chilled, food obsessed house mate 😀 He is a lovely dog, he learns quickly and has adapted to spending time in a home really well.
On Saturday afternoon Harry went for a walk through the seafront gardens at Felixstowe and back along the promenade. He dined on a jumbo sausage on the beach and observed some funny shaped ‘greyhounds’ in a variety of sizes. Initially he was unsure of what to make of them and was content to just look and then ignore them. Harry did eventually partake in some sniff n greets, with a black lab and a beagle. We then popped in to delight some golden oldies in a nearby residential home and deliver some Xmas cards. Harry was impeccably behaved and took it all in his stride.”
Update 23/02/20 Harry Brown joined us for our monthly walk today. He was handled by our new Volunteer Fiona who says he behaved really well and was a good boy with the two other breeds he met. Goodness knows why dear Harry Brown has waited so long for his forever home, he is such a sweetheart and we all love him dearly.
All greyhounds are neutered, have had their teeth cleaned and are inoculated. They each leave us with a collar and lead, muzzle and their worming and flea treatments up to date. They are all microchipped, details are transferred to the new owner. They also have four weeks free insurance.
