Betty

Betty2Born in September 2013 Betty is a sweet little thing who was a little shy when she first arrived but over the last few days she has decided she does want to be friends with everybody and is now coming up for a fuss.  She shares her kennel with a boy.

Update 28/08/16 Betty joined us for the Clacton Food and Drink Festival this weekend. She fell head over heels in love with Moody.  At first she was overwhelmed by the sight of some tiny dogs and hid behind Moody but she soon realised they were dogs, like her but a different shape and size.  She was pleased to meet them all then. Betty loved the attention she received from the public and behaved well all day.  She is gentle on her lead and was a good girl on the van journey to and from the show.

Update 06/9/16 Betty spent the afternoon with us at the Tattingstone village fete on Saturday and behaved very well again.  She loves being in the company of her kennel mates and shares her kennel with a boy.  This leads us to believe she could live happily with another dog in a home environment.  She also loves a fuss as seen below.Tattingstone fete 052

Update 13/9/16 Betty has been to a birthday party with her kennel mates.  They love a good party, especially if they take centre stage!

Update 20/9/16 Betty joined her kennel mates at the Henham Steam Rally this weekend.  She was her usual laid back self taking everything in her stride until it came to having lunch and she and Claire made sure it was ladies first!

Update 24/9/16 Good news for Betty she has been reserved and will be going to live with a very handsome young Lurcher pending our usual home check.

Betty can't believe it

Betty wonders why not all dogs have lovely long legs like her.

All greyhounds are neutered, have had their teeth cleaned and are inoculated. They each leave us with a new coat, collar and lead, muzzle, wormers and flea treatment. They are all microchipped, details are transferred to the new owner. They also have four weeks free Petplan insurance.
