Sadly Blue and his friend Ruby have been returned to Dillymore following a bereavement. Blue is a handsome boy, friendly and affectionate. It would be lovely if we were able to home them together.
Update 13/5/16 Blue and his friend Ruby had a morning out of kennels today. They paced out the Mistley short walk ready for Sunday 22nd. They both behaved well in the car, walked nicely on their leads and were friendly towards the people and other dogs they met.
Update 22/5/16 Yesterday Blue and his friend Ruby enjoyed an outing to the Hadleigh show. They had a great time enjoying lots of cuddles.
Update 21/6/16 Blue and his friend Ruby are in foster care at the moment while Ruby has a dental procedure. Here is what the foster carers have to say Blue:-
“Blue is very laid back, nothing seems to bother him. Quite bold and inquisitive when out on walks, loves the garden and is always interested in whatever is happening. He is quite a tall dog, so not good with narrow stairs, but fine with the larger steps in public gardens. Happy playing with other greyhounds, but not really interested in other breeds of dog. Gets on very well with Ruby, they will lie on the same bed together, share the toys, and even share the food, so do need to be re-homed together”.
There is an old saying in greyhound circles along the lines of “if there is a space on the floor you have room for one more” Why not consider two if there is space on your floor? We really can’t bear to separate them.
All greyhounds are neutered, have had their teeth cleaned and are inoculated. They each leave us with a new coat, collar and lead, muzzle, wormers and flea treatment. They are all microchipped, details are transferred to the new owner. They also have four weeks free Petplan insurance.
