Born in September 2012 Charlie (Racing name Overcharge) had only just arrived at Dillymore on the day his photo was taken for the website. He wasn’t sure what to make of the camera but once it stopped looking at him he soon wagged his tail and made friends with the photographer. We think he will be a happy little boy in a day or two when he has settled.
Update 01/4/17 Charlie has settled in nicely now and was as good as gold when he was given his flea and worming treatments today. He enjoyed a cuddle with one of the volunteers and was a real little tail wagger.
Update 13/04/17 Charlie has had a busy week. On Sunday he went to the Ardleigh car boot sale. This was his first trip away from kennels and he was amazing. He was so eager to meet new people, was friendly towards the different breeds of dogs he met and was lovely with children.
On Wednesday he and his kennel buddy Arthur went to visit residents of a care home for people with Dementia. What an impact they made. They proved popular with staff, residents and visitors alike. The residents hope to have a resident greyhound soon. Arthur or Charlie would be perfect for them if if they haven’t been snapped up by the time they are ready for one.
Both boys traveled well together in the car, they got on really well so if anybody is looking for a pair they could be it.
All greyhounds are neutered, have had their teeth cleaned and are inoculated. They each leave us with a new coat, collar and lead, muzzle and their worming and flea treatments up to date.. They are all microchipped, details are transferred to the new owner. They also have four weeks free Petplan insurance.
