Born in August 2011 Wally (Racing name Johnny’s Boy) is an affectionate boy who walks well on his lead. He is a real people dog, lapping up as much fuss and attention as you can give. He is the son of Toosey Blue and Blonde Jeannie whose offspring we have successfully homed are too numerous to mention. He is every bit as lovely as they all are.
Update 25/6/17 Wally had been having problems with a toe that kept dislocating, so the decision was made to remove it. The good news is that he is already a lot more comfortable and out of pain, and the wound is healing well.
He’s been recovering in a temporary foster home and we’ve been able to find out a bit more about him. He has been very gentle with his ancient temporary sister, and has been totally well-behaved in the house. He doesn’t need to be told anything twice, he listens and remembers, he’s a clever boy. He is indeed very affectionate, loves to be where you are but isn’t demanding. He chatters away very happily when he’s fussed – check out the video at the bottom of the page with the sound turned right up! He’s also a playful boy.
He has been very excitable when meeting other breeds of dog, he will need some socialisation before he can be trusted around them without his muzzle – but he does settle down after some time.
