What can you do?

There are many ways you can help us from spreading the word about what great pets greyhounds make to donations on our Missionfish account.

When buying via ebay you can see that all proceeds come directly to Greyhound Homer. Occasionally we will have items to auction too.

Kennels always need the following:

straight cut shredded paper
towels
duvets
muzzles
hound coats both walking out and kennel - secondhand is fine

Hounds always appreciate tins of tuna/ sardines and corned beef.

If you can donate any of the above they can be dropped off at the kennels or at Sally & Kev's house. Contact us to arrange that.

Promotion

Can you help promote us?
Do you have a noticeboard at work, could you display a poster somewhere?
Could you have a few business cards to hand out if anyone ever asks you about homing a hound?
Do you know of anywhere we could display a banner where lots of people could see it?
Do you have any ideas we haven't thought of yet?

Donations and Ebay

We have our own community account on ebay where we can sell donated items, all proceeds to the charity, you can donate part of your sales to us and also you can donate cash to us via a secure link Missionfish. It is all set up on the ebay page and Missionfish can collect Gift Aid for us making your donation even bigger! So if you have any items you think would be good to sell on ebay or can help in anyway here please get in touch.

Now we have a VirginMoneyGiving account, this means if you want to raise money for us with a spnsored event,or by tickets for an event we run or just donate to us, they will collect all Gift Aid and put straight into our account to help the hounds waiting for their turn at a forever home.

Volunteering

We always need people to help us at shows to promote greyhounds, to arrange walks, to fundraise and to spread the word. If you are interested in this again please contact us.
