Born in June’16 Roger (Racing name Coolleagh Recruit) is a calm and laid back boy who according to his previous kennel used to like to chill out in the office and snooze. We understand he may be a little reactive to other breeds at the moment but we will assess him further as we get to know him.
Update 02/01/21 Roger made friends with Lottie the Lurcher at kennels today. After a bit of initial excitement, literally seconds, they walked nicely together and soon made friends. Roger walked really well on his lead. We think he is smashing.
Update 09/01/21
Following on from last weeks introduction to Lottie the Lurcher Roger (Coolleagh Recruit) met Sam the Labrador today. What a great success that was. Roger although curious, behaved extremely well and after some distanced parallel walking joined Sam in sniffing around the grounds and eventually each other.
Roger is such a good lad on his lead, you hardly know you have got him.
Well done Roger for coping so well and well done Sam the Labrador for doing a sterling job on his first assignment as a stooge dog.
Once again Roger is wearing his muzzle as a precaution which is always sensible on initial introductions.
All greyhounds are neutered, have had their teeth cleaned and are inoculated. They each leave us with a collar and lead, muzzle and their worming and flea treatments up to date. They are all microchipped, details are transferred to the new owner. They also have four weeks free insurance.
