Born in August 2024 Walter (makeitwalter) is still a young man about to celebrate his second birthday on the 7th. He has a lovely glossy black coat,is lively and very curious about what is going on around him, watching everything. We haven’t taken Walter out and about with us yet but we bet he can’t wait until we do. All of the new sights, sounds and smells will be right up his alley.
Update 01/09/26 Walter joined us for our monthly walk and annual picnic yesterday. His Volunteer Laura says they went on the longer walk as Walter was eager to get going. He has lots of energy! He pulled for most of the walk but this reduced towards the end of the walk. He enjoyed watching the birds on the reservoir. He passed other people walking their dogs and although interested he didn’t pull towards them and was calm when walking past them.
He was very friendly and enjoyed saying hello to everyone and the other Greyhounds along the way.
We don’t think Walters lack of lead manners is too much to worry about, nothing a bit more lead training and if necessary a harness won’t sort out. He might thrive in an active home if he is a busy boy
All greyhounds are neutered, have had their teeth cleaned and are inoculated. They each leave us with a collar and lead, muzzle and their worming and flea treatments up to date. They are all microchipped, details are transferred to the new owner. They also have four weeks free insurance.
