Born in July 2023 Neville (Kilara Raptor) was extremely shy when he first arrived a few weeks ago.
With time and a lot of reassurance from both staff and volunteers Neville has become much more confident, and his happy personality is just starting to show through, he now comes to the front of his kennel to greet you and likes a fuss from his trusted friends so we feel it is now time to look for a forever home for him..
To help Neville transition into home life it would benefit him when he is chosen if his prospective family could take time to get to know him by visiting and walking him a few times before taking him home.
Please don’t be put off by Neville’s initial shyness he will make such a loyal and loving pet once he gets to know you.
Post adoptive support is always available for all of our dogs and we would of course be supportive of Neville and his new family.
Update 16/06/26 Nevilee recently spent time in his paddock with a Volunteer he hadn’t met before, she sat down and waited for him to come to her and remarkably he did so after just a minute or two. He enjoyed lots of fuss and cuddles. Anyone who can see past Neville’s initial shyness will be rewarded in spades, this gentle lad has so much love to give.
Update 01/09/26 Fingers crossed for Neville. He is growing in confidence thanks to the efforts of our Foster Carer and her dog the lovely Miele, the staff at kennels and in particular Volunteer Pip.
Neville is now being fostered by Volunteers Louise and Mia with a view to adoption.
