An Appeal for Beefy

AN URGENT APPEAL FOR BEEFY

Update 01/07/25 Great news everyone. Beefy has now found a new home.

After being in a home since March Beefy is now looking for a new family. His current owners don’t feel they can offer Beefy all he needs.

He is a very young dog, only 2 years old in May. He would ideally suit an experienced active family who are around much of the time to teach him basic manners, discourage chewing (quite normal behaviour for a puppy) and to socialise him more. He did not take well to being crated. That aside his family say he is the most loving boy who loves his cuddles and is super excited to greet them when they come home. He has been good with children although we feel given his age he will have an exuberant zest for life and a family with no children or older children might be best.

Perhaps you might feel you could foster Beefy with a view to adopting him or fostering him to teach him the basic manners and the socialisation skills all young dogs need to be taught until a permanent home is found.

Post adoption support would be available with access to advice from a behaviorist should it be needed.

Beefy really is the nicest, most loving dog who is at the moment still with his owners and we really don’t want him to come back to kennels if we can help it. A home to home situation is what we and his family would really like.
