After what has been a sad week, having learned of the passing of Edgar and Gus we are pleased to be posting happy news today.
Our team of Volunteers organised two events on Saturday. We were at Meet and Greet sessions at Tesco in Colchester and The Pavillion in Raydon.
What a great success both events proved to be with a fantastic total amount of money received from a combination of donations, sales and the tombola totaling an amazing £1242.98!
Just as importantly though Peg and Zeus went off to their forever homes and both Mac and Postie were reserved.
Some of our homed hounds and former Volunteers and Ambassadors came along to see us and we received a warm welcome from the public at both events.
Many thanks to both Tesco and the Pavilion for allowing us to showcase the work we do, it is so important for us to be able to spread the word about what wonderful pets Greyhounds can be.
Well done to our Volunteers who managed to put on two busy events in one day. To all who made cakes, donated Tombola prizes and helped us in so many other ways.
And last but by no means least to everyone who visited each event. Your support is much appreciated and is vital in all we do.
