Just a little reminder we have 3 events arranged for this weekend.
We start on Friday evening with our monthly walk.
Friday 31st July Shotley Gate, Ipswich IP9 1QJ (7pm start opposite the Shipwreck.)
Hopefully as this is an evening walk and it will be a cooler. This is a pretty walk with stunning views up and down the Stour and Orwell estuaries towards Harwich and Felixstowe, along local footpaths and through the village.
Please note at the time of writing parking charges apply in the car park on the marina. However if as last year if you go into The Shipwreck give your registration car number and buy a drink the parking charge is not payable but please do check
At present temperatures are predicted to be lowering to between 19c and 18c Walk Leader Barb will be happy to lead a much shorter walk if you all feel it is still too warm. The normal walk would be approximately 1 hour.
